We invest thousands back into the community by donating $10 to our Meet the Need program for every new savings account opened in Wayne and Monroe Counties.

Giving Back Locally

Our Community Focus FCU team volunteeered over 200 hours in 2025 in different local community events in Wayne and Monroe Counties.

Fighting Food Insecurity

Our branches collected over 1500 lb of non-perishable food items for the local food pantries. 

Financial Guidance

Community Focus Federal Credit Union provides free financial checkups to help members build budgets, improve credit, reduce debt, and prepare for major financial goals. Our certified team works one-on-one with members throughout Wayne and Monroe Counties.

Empowering Students

In 2025 our team members facilitated a number of budgeting workshops for students in Wayne and Monroe Counties.

Supporting Teachers

Since 2013, Community Focus has awarded 31 Cash for Class grants to teachers across Wayne and Monroe County school districts, helping fund classroom supplies, educational resources, and innovative learning experiences for local students.

Throughout the year, our team volunteers with local food pantries and our branches serve as collection sites for non-perishable food donations because we believe small acts of kindness can make a big difference in our community.

Community Focus Federal Credit Union was proud to roll up our sleeves alongside other volunteers during the Thriving Together Action Day to support projects that strengthen our communities and help make Downriver an even better place to live, work, and thrive.

Community Focus Federal Credit Union is committed to strengthening financial literacy through educational workshops in local schools and throughout the communities we serve. Our team provides practical guidance on topics such as budgeting, saving, credit, and financial wellness, helping individuals of all ages build confidence in managing their money.
