Fraud Alert: Phone Number Spoofing
Community Focus Federal Credit Union has been made aware that our phone number (313-386-5800) is currently being spoofed by scammers.
Some members reported receiving a call that appeared to come from our number, but the caller claimed to be from a debt relief company. The caller also had access to personal information, including the member’s name, address, and Social Security number.
We are actively monitoring this situation. If you believe you may have been contacted or if you receive additional suspicious calls, please notify us immediately.
Your security is our priority, and we appreciate your vigilance as we work to protect our members and community.
Please know: Community Focus FCU will never call, text, or email you to ask for your full Social Security number, online banking credentials, debit/credit card numbers, or one-time passcodes.
